EMR Integration

New patient demographics sync to your EMR during the intake call—appointment and patient record created instantly

When a new patient calls for an appointment, the AI captures their name, date of birth, and phone number and writes them directly to your EMR. Your chart is pre-built before the patient hangs up.

How it pays back

Chart Pre-Built During the Call

The patient's EMR record exists before they schedule their appointment. No staff member spends time creating a blank chart or hunting for duplicate records.

No Data Entry Bottleneck

Demographic entry is a tedious front desk task. The AI eliminates it entirely. Staff time is freed for scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication.

Correct Name Spelling and DOB on First Try

The AI confirms demographics with the patient during the call. Name spelling and date of birth are verified before the chart is created, eliminating chart merge work later.

Integrated With Your EMR Platform

Whether you use AdvancedMD, Tebra, Elation, or another supported EMR, the sync is native. No API workarounds, no manual exports—it just works.

Frequently asked questions

Does the system check for duplicate patient records?

Yes. The AI queries your EMR for matching names and DOBs before creating a new record. If a match is found, your staff is alerted and can verify whether the patient is new or returning.

What if the patient has a common name?

The AI uses date of birth as the primary de-duplication key. Your staff receives an alert if there are multiple records with the same name but different DOBs, so they can confirm the correct patient before proceeding.

Can patients update their demographics after the call?

Yes. The patient portal allows them to verify and update name, phone, email, and address before their appointment. Any updates sync back to the EMR.

What demographic fields are captured?

Name, date of birth, phone number, email, and address (if provided) are captured on the call and synced to the EMR. Insurance information and photo ID are captured separately and managed by staff.

Is the demographic sync real-time or batch?

Real-time. The record is created in your EMR during the call, before the patient hangs up. Your staff can open the chart immediately.

Which EMRs are supported for demographic sync?

We support AdvancedMD, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Elation, Cerbo, Hint, Tebra, Nextech, and others. Check the integrations page for your specific platform.
