Yes. The AI can place callers on a waitlist, offer alternative times, or schedule a callback to discuss options. Your staff manages the waitlist and can manually open slots or contact the patient.
You control this. By default, appointments write to the EMR and a staff member reviews the booking for confirmation. You can also set the system to auto-confirm routine appointments based on rules.
The AI can handle rescheduling calls, check availability, and update the EMR. Cancellations are logged and marked as such in the schedule so slots open for other patients.
Insurance information is captured during the call and returned as part of the intake summary for your staff to review. Co-pay information can be mentioned to the caller, but verification happens during check-in or staff follow-up.
