The AI's availability check happens at the moment the caller requests a slot. If the provider just blocked that time, the AI sees it and offers an alternative. The slot is not promised to the caller.

Can multiple calls be processed at the same time without conflicts?

Yes. Each call triggers a real-time availability query and an atomic write to Kareo. The second caller sees the first caller's booking already in the system, so no overlap occurs.

Does this work for recurring appointments or multi-provider slots?
