Integration

Fresno multi-location clinics with different EMRs at each site need appointment booking that works across all of them

Some Fresno practices run AdvancedMD at one location and eClinicalWorks at another. AI reception routes appointments to the right EMR based on patient location and provider assignment.

How it pays back

Callers don't hear 'pick which location' scripts

AI learns the caller's history or preference and books them at the right location without asking 'did you mean the downtown clinic or the midtown one.' If it's ambiguous, the AI asks once; your staff sees a clear summary.

Appointment data lands in the right EMR, first time

No spreadsheets, no manual data entry, no 'I forgot which system this patient is in.' Appointments populate the correct EMR based on your routing rules and appointment type.

New patient creation is consistent across locations

New patients get a chart at the location where they're scheduled, with structured intake (name, DOB, phone, reason for visit) already in the record. Staff verifies and files clinical notes; AI handled the administrative data.

Multi-location reporting is unified and simple

You see one dashboard showing calls, bookings, missed appointments, and urgent escalations across all locations. No need to log into each EMR or check separate systems.

Frequently asked questions

If a patient calls and they've seen providers at multiple locations, how does the AI know where to book?

The AI checks your EMR history first. If the patient has seen a specific provider recently, it offers that location. If not, the AI asks which location or provider they prefer. Either way, the appointment books into the correct system.

What if one location uses AdvancedMD and another uses athenahealth? How does the AI handle both?

We support both systems natively. You provide credentials for each EMR, and the AI routes appointments based on your configuration. If a patient asks for the 'downtown location' which runs AdvancedMD, the appointment syncs to that system. The 'uptown location' running athenahealth gets calls routed differently. It's seamless from the caller's perspective.

Are new patients created in both EMRs or just the one where they're scheduled?

Only the EMR where they're scheduled. If a new patient later visits the other location, they'll be a new patient in that system (though you can merge records manually if your practice protocol requires it).

How do we set up the AI to know which location a caller wants?

During onboarding, we configure rules: if they mention a landmark ('the clinic near the shopping mall'), the AI maps that to the right location. If they ask for a specific provider, we route to that provider's location. If it's ambiguous, the AI asks. Your team provides the location-to-EMR mapping; we handle the routing logic.

Is there one bill for the AI service across all locations, or separate bills?

One bill, one contract, one dashboard. You pay based on call volume and integrations, not per-location. This is simpler and more efficient than deploying separate systems at each site.
