Multi-Location
Fresno multi-location medical practices use one AI receptionist to answer calls for all clinics, route callers to the right location, and book appointments across separate EMRs. No caller confusion, no missed appointments.
Patients call a single number and reach the right clinic. No more directing callers to different numbers for different locations. AI asks which location or provider the caller needs, books them in the right place, and routes urgent calls to the correct on-call staff. Fresno multi-site practices feel like one seamless practice.
Each location's EMR is separate, but the AI receptionist can be configured to check availability across all locations and avoid scheduling conflicts. Callers get the first available slot at their preferred location. Staff no longer field calls about booking conflicts across systems.
When a new patient calls, the AI captures their name, date of birth, phone, and insurance information and creates a patient record in the correct location's EMR. No manual transfers between systems. The new patient chart is ready when the patient arrives at the right clinic.
Instead of each clinic handling its own phones, one AI receptionist covers all incoming calls. Staff at each location focus on patient care instead of phone intake. Fresno multi-site practices see immediate relief in front-desk workload.

Each clinic's on-call provider receives escalations for their location
The AI asks the caller, 'Which of our Fresno locations would you prefer—Downtown, North Campus, or Westside?' or 'Which provider would you like to see?' Based on the answer, the appointment books into that location's EMR. You can also configure the system to ask for insurance or other qualifiers to route callers intelligently.
Yes. If you use a centralized scheduling view or if the AI is integrated with all location EMRs, it can check real-time availability across sites. If your EMRs are truly separate, the AI can be configured to offer slots at the preferred location first, then ask if other locations work if the first is fully booked.
The AI can ask clarifying questions—'Are you calling about your regular visit, or is this a new issue?' or 'Do you see Dr. Smith or Dr. Chen?' and route based on that. If still unclear, the call can be escalated to a staff member at the main line or the caller can be directed to the location nearest them by zip code.
If each location uses a different EMR platform from our named integration list (athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Epic, Elation, Cerbo, Hint, Tebra, AdvancedMD, ModMed), we can configure separate integrations for each. The AI routes to the correct EMR and books appointments. If integrations are complex, calls for certain locations can be escalated to that location's staff for final booking confirmation.
You configure on-call numbers for each location. If a call comes in after hours asking about the Downtown clinic, it escalates to Downtown's on-call provider. If it's Westside, it goes to Westside's provider. The AI keeps the routing clear so urgent cases reach the right on-call staff.
