1. Program description

This messaging program sends account notifications to staff at medical practices that subscribe to MedReception AI. A message tells a staff member that an item in their MedReception AI dashboard needs attention — a message a caller left, or a usage notice — and carries a link to it.

Opt-in is collected on a web form at medreception.ai/patient-form-sms with a dedicated, unchecked checkbox for SMS consent. Only a person who enters their own mobile number and ticks that box receives anything.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. To rejoin, opt in again the same way you did originally.

3. Support

4. Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, for messages sent to you by us and by you to us. Message frequency varies with activity on your account. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

6. Supported carriers

Our program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular and most regional carriers.

7. Age restriction

You must be 18 or older to participate.

8. What we never send

Messages under this program contain no patient name, date of birth, diagnosis, medication or other clinical detail. SMS is not an encrypted channel, so anything identifying a patient stays behind the account login.

9. Privacy

Our SMS privacy policy is at medreception.ai/privacy-sms. We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines.
