1. What you would receive
- A confirmation request when an appointment is booked, with the date, time and practice name.
- A reminder before the appointment.
- Rescheduling messages if you reply that the time no longer works.
Messages arrive as RCS when your phone and carrier support it, otherwise as SMS. They name the practice and the appointment time and nothing else: no diagnosis, medication, test result or other clinical detail. A typical message reads:
MedReception AI for Demo Medical Practice: Your appointment is scheduled for Wednesday at 3:00 PM. Reply YES to confirm or RESCHEDULE to change it. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
Reply YES to confirm, RESCHEDULE to change the time, STOP to end all texts, HELP for help, or START to resume texts after stopping.
