Yes. The system checks for available same-day urgent slots, offers the patient the next open time, and books it instantly. If no same-day slot is available, it offers the next-available urgent appointment.

How does the AI prevent double-booking?

The system integrates with your EMR or scheduling system and reads real-time availability. It only offers slots that are confirmed open, and it locks the slot when the patient accepts it. Your staff or other booking channels see the updated schedule immediately.

What EMR systems support real-time appointment booking?

We integrate with athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Epic, Elation, Cerbo, Hint, Tebra, AdvancedMD, and ModMed. Integration timelines vary (athena/eCW often 1–3 weeks; others 3–6 weeks). Check your EMR's API capabilities during setup to confirm real-time two-way sync.

The AI confirms the appointment verbally on the call. Your system then sends an SMS and/or email reminder based on your clinic's configured reminder rules. The AI doesn't send these directly; your EMR's reminder system does.
